it's 27 in concord right now, oakland has got 34, livermore at 26 and 29 degrees at san jose, in santa rosa right now it is 24 degrees so that is an icy bite to start out your sunday morning. freezing temperatures again tonight, we will get more sun tomorrow. it's drier this morning, though. the winds are out of the northwest, the general flow is out of the northwest and that being a very low humidity direction, means there's not as much moisture in the air to form ice on the windshield and it will be warming up slowly but warming up next week. on the satellite, you can see on the time lapse here that northwesterly flow off the coast, big dome of high pressure in full command of the eastern pacific and this is as for how it usually goes. we had that series of storms and rain and a big low pressure trough that was carved out over the west coast for a while. things just moving away as you get a deep trough in the way and then a tall crest following it so we had that detrough of low pressure. it's followed by a big dome of high pressure and that's why for a while we are going to look for
